Show PLAN COAL SURVEY OF SALT LAKE CITY Luncheon Will Be Held at Commercial Club Tomorrow to Work Out Details. A coal survey of Salt Likp will he arranged at a luncheon at the Commercial Commer-cial club at 12:30 o 'clock tomorrow afternoon. Sixty prominent men of the city have been invited to attend and Ifive their ideas which will .be instrumental instru-mental in formulating the detailed plans. C. P. Castle, chairman of the city advisory committee, has requested tho aid of A. ('. Roes, secretary of the Manufacturers7 Association of L:tah, to aid in planning the canvass, and the luncheon was arranged yesterday. The amount oH coal in every bin and storehouse in Salt Lake will be tabulated, tabu-lated, according to present plans. Information In-formation to be gathered will be: What will be the actual needs of Salt Lake residents, industrial and commercial interests, in-terests, during the next five months7 When the results of the canvass have been tabulated the needs of uear-by states can be more readily estimated. The survey is to begin tho first of next week and is to consume twenty four hours. |
