Show GRANTSVILLE PIONEER DiES AT AGE OF 93 Special to The Tribune. CJRAXTSVILI.K, Oct. CO. The funeral of John Johnson, a pioneer resident of t Jrantsville. was held from the First ward chapel yesterday afternoon. Mr. Johnson had been bedfast for the past two years a nd had been an invalid for years. l ie was born in Sweden ninety-three years ago lusL August and came to Grantsvill more than forty years ago. He is survived by his wife, four daughters daugh-ters and one son- The children are Mrs. Charles Kens ter maker of Sandy, Utah ; Mrs. ,1. E. Clark. Mrs. lenus Peterson, Miss Janet Johnson and Lenus Johnson, ail of Grantviile. He also is survived by seventeen grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. The speakers at the funeral were Thomas Williams. Oito Johnson, former Bishop A. K. Anderson and Patriarch Patri-arch B. Kv Barrus. Bishop Richard Jefferies pronounced the benediction and' A. Fawson dedicated the grave. M. J. Bird and Miss Merinda Brown rendered solos. Interment was in the City cemetery. |
