Show DISCUSS MATTER OF ABSENTEE VOTERS Utah Among States Which Have Not Provided for Suffrage of Soldiers Sol-diers in Europe. Secretaries of stat in the United States discussed at their convention held in Topeka. Kan., last week possibility possi-bility of securing uniformity ' in the matter of permitting absentee citizens to vote at future elections, according to Harden Bennion, Utah secretary of state, who has returned from attendance at the national meeting-. The question was taken up, Mr. Bennion says, on account of the fact that next year there i will possibly be a million ot more citi-' citi-' zens in Europe in war sen ice. Several ! states have made provision to care for these absentee votes, but Utah has not. There were two other chief topics discussed, Mr. Bennion save. One was uniformity in corporation laws of the various states and co-operation with the American Bar association and other bodies seeking co ordination in t.be laws on this subject.
