Three Headliners in New Orpheum Bill to Open This Evening for Week'3 Engagement. THE twelfth week of Orpheum vaudeville vaude-ville will open this evening with a bill comprised of eight acts, three of whicb are scheduled as headliners.' At the top of the bill is Wilbur Mack and Xella Walker, in "A Pair ' of Tickets," a comedy. Their offering has been staged in true Belascouian manner. Sharing the highest honors is Princess Kahuna and her company of native Hawaiian Ha-waiian singers and players. Princess Kalama is the originator of the whirlwind whirl-wind hula hula dance and made a big hit when she played here last year. This season she has added to her support a company of artists, a charming and alluring al-luring stane setting and a musical score of true Hawaiian sentiment. The third headliner of the bill will be Mrs. Gene Hughes und her company, in "Gowns." Its story is a simple one, although, al-though, like all good plots, it has its twists and bends. The principal idea is of a neglected wife'K restoration in her husband's affections by the agency of gowns. The piece in ordinarily good hands would be a success, but in the keeping of Mrs. Hughes and her players it is one of the season's best sketches. Dunbar's Old-time Oarkles, with the sou t hern nlantat ion melodies a nd harmonies; har-monies; David Sapirsteiu, one of America's Amer-ica's foremost pianists; Turn Kerr and Edith Ensign with their talking fiddle: Mantr a nil Snyder, the twentieth century cen-tury wonders of the acrobatic world, and the Pathe .News, showing- notable events of animated world history, complete the balance of the show, which runs for the five nights begi lining this evening and for four matinees, beginning with tomorrow.
