Show A COLLEGIA atmosphere pervaded the Hotel Utah last night when the Pan-Hellenic Association of Utah jrave Its annual dinner dance. Many guests were in attendance, attend-ance, including Greek letters fratemlty men erf the state, with their wives and women friends. The assemblage of beautifully beau-tifully powned women and cltian-cut, bright college men, was a brilliant one. j Pinner was served In the dining room at 7 o'clocJc and was followed by dancing in the "ballroom and cards on the mezzanine mez-zanine floor. The guests were seated at small tables for parties of four or elx. Yajses of pink and white roues were used in the center of each table, and single blossoms were scattered over the cloth. The ballroom was decorated in Christmas Christ-mas greens and red berries. The Bush o reheat ra of twelve pieces furnished music during the dinner hour and a male trio sanp college songs. Old-time Old-time college favorites were played by the orchestra and the dinars. In memory of their college days, joined in the chorus. 1 Carnival hats and balloons, with fraternity fra-ternity emblems and noise-makers, were much in evidence, gratifying survival of the small boy instlnc-t in every man to , m:i"ke a racket. Hagenbarth entertained enter-tained with a prettily appointed dancing partv last night at their home on East South Temple street for their daughter, Miss Mary Haeenbarth, who is at home from school for the Christmas holidays. The rooms were decorated in holly, mistletoe, mis-tletoe, red berries and red roses. Dancing was enjoyed on the first floor of the home and a late buffet supper was served in the billiard rooms. The billiard table with a Christmas tree in the center was the supper table. Assisting the host and hostess were Senator and Mrs. Thomas Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. C. -J. Collins and Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth J. O'Brien. The wedding of Miss Jeanette Werber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Werber. and Aaron Hirschovitz took place yesterday yester-day afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at the temple tem-ple of the Congregation Monteflore. A reception and supper followed the ceremony, cere-mony, which was performed bv Rabbi S. Baskin. The bride wore a gown of white chiffon chif-fon over white taffeta, with a veil and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and narcissus. The ma tron of honor, Mrs. William Levering, worn yellow satin. One of the bridesmaids, Miss Hattle Nathan, wore lavender taffeta and the other bridesmaid, brides-maid, Mips Sarah Nathan, wore pale green taffeta. The matron and maids carried pink roses. The little flower girl. Marion Turk, wore white chiffon trimmed in pink rose buds and carried a basket of pink rosebuds and narcissus. Dr. E. M. Silverb-irg was best man. The church parlors and dining room were decorated in palms and red carnations. carna-tions. The couple will be at home after January Janu-ary 1 at the Altadena apartments. Mrs. N. A. Dun yon entertained last night with a dancing party at the Dun-yon Dun-yon home, 2:1 H street, for her daughter. Miss Angela Dunyon. Christmas decora- tions were used throughout the rooms. Holly, red berries and mistletoe were combined com-bined with red roses. About thirty were in attendance. The hostess was assisted by Miss Kstelle Dunyon and Miss Kdith Wells. . . A number of friends were entertained Christmas night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Evans on West North Temple street. Miss Margaret Evans, Miss Claire Evans and Miss Grace Evans entertained the guests with singing and dancing. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar C. McCarty entertained enter-tained at Christmas dinner at their home on Snow avenue yesterday In honor of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Farley and daughter, Ger-tha. Ger-tha. Mrs. Farley will soon join her hus-hand hus-hand in Bingham Canyon, while her daughter. Gertha, will return to school at Ht. Mary's academy. Mr. and Mrs. Ledyard M. Bailey will give a large dancing party at the Country Coun-try club this evening, introducing their daughter. Miss Dorothy Bailey, to society. Miss Josephine "Wallace will entertain the Delta Epsllon sorority pledges, active and alumnae members at her home on East First South street this afternoon. A number of Salt Lakers will go to Og-den Og-den tonight to attend the dancing partv to be given by the Bohemian club at Ber-thana Ber-thana hall. Miss Genevra Mc.Clellan and Miss Madeline Made-line McClellan will give a dance at the Ladies' Literary club house this evening. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. McCall of Camas, Idaho, are spending the holidays with Mrs. McCall's mother, Mrs. A. C. Banker, in the Sampson apartments. Mrs. McCall was formerly Miss Mamie Banker. The marriage of Miss Mae O'Neill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. O'Neill, and Charles Harrison Feldman will take place this evening. A reception will follow fol-low at 1203 Fourth avenue. Miss Myra Cameron will entertain with a dancing party at the .Ladles Literary club house tonight. A cabaret hop will be given at the Com-mereial Com-mereial club this evening. The Oliver O. Howard Roman's Relief corps will hold Its regular meeting this afternoon at the I. O. O. F. hall The Young Ladles' sodalltv of St Mary's cathedral will give a Christmas entertainment for the children of the Sunday Sun-day school in cathedral hall this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Toys and bags of goodies will be distributed.
