Mrs. Ii. M. Taylor was hostess at a breakfast on Thursday morning in honor of Dr. and Mrs. G. T. Fox and their daughter, Mrs. Decker of Bethlehem, Pa. The breakfast table was decorated decorat-ed with a large vase of American beauty roses. Dr. and Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Decker, Deck-er, who have been touring the west, left for their home on Thursday. Mrs. Lucv W. Ingersoll of Los Angeles, An-geles, well known in Salt Lake, where she was formerly a resident, addressed the ladies of the First Presbyterian church Tuesday on the subject, "Relation "Re-lation of Religion to Health." This talk was the first of a series oa "Health and Hvgiene. " Miss Chrissy Patterson, a bride of the coming week, was the guest of. honor at several pre-iiuptial affairs during the past week. The Cameo club entertained last evening even-ing at the home of Miss Trene Nicholls on McClelland avenue, with a linen shower in honor of Miss Mabel Ahl-quist. Ahl-quist. The library was appropriately decorated with red hearts. Marigolds, golden-glow and sunflowers were used in the parlor and lavender and white asters in the dining room. About twenty-five guests were entertained. Mrs. R. H. Merrill was the hostess at a luncheon yesterday in honor of her guest, Mrs. W. W. Blackman of Atlanta, Ga. The guests, numbering fourteen, were seated at two tables, the tasteful decorations of which were an arrangement arrange-ment of pink-shaded caudles and pink asters and smilax. Mrs. J. S. Gard and her daughter, Miss Edith Gard, gave a luncheon yesterday yes-terday in honor of Miss Zora M. Morse, a September bride-to-be. Sunflowers formed the decorations. Games and musia were the features of the ovening and a buffet Supper was served. The house was attractively decorated with varicolored vari-colored asters. Miss Claire Smith entertained the. members of her club at a bridge tea on Friday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Arthur B. Parsons aud Mrs. Edward W. Johnson, two brides of the summer. Miss Melba Rolln entertained twelve guests at an Orpheum party yesterday afternoon in honor of Miss La Rue Hampton and Miss Harriet Parker, brides of this week.
