Show BOY SCOUTS DELAYED BY SICK COMPANION Lieutenant M. S. .Sorreis a nd Privates Harry and Frederick MarcellUE, of the St. Paul, Minn., boy scouts, are In Salt Lake, delayed in their hike to San Francisco Fran-cisco by the sickness of Frederick Mar-cellus Mar-cellus at the Deseret gym. He 1b suffering suffer-ing from an attack of blood poisoning, 'aused by scratches received on the trip to Salt Lake. The three young scouts are treklng from St. Paul to the coast fairs. Beside walking, walk-ing, they are pulling a wagon weighing about 100 pounds. The distance they Intend In-tend to cover is 293 miles. They say they are thirty days behind because ot the bad roads in Kansas, where J here were heavy floods during the summer. The trip was started on April 11, last. October Octo-ber 16 was the day thev ficured on arriving ar-riving at San Francisco. They will not make It. |
