Show RECORD ATTENDANCE AT GRANITE HIGH Three Hundred and Ten Students Arc Enrolled at Institution to Date. The membership of (he Granite high school has asaln broken the record. Throe hundred and ten student nave enrolled for regular work. Such a number was not reached last year until the last of September. Principal A. S. Bennion saio last night that prospects were bright for the largest enrollment yet. The opening open-ing of next week will bring many. More than 140 freshmen are on the books so far this year. ' Eighteen of the students from Garrield, who attended Granite last' year, are not on the enrollment list and practically no students from the city are recorded. Only students who have 'been at Granite from the citv one or more years were exempted exemp-ted from the fee which the county charges for the citv students. The summer work of the boys ot Granite Gran-ite has been carried on and credit has been given in the agricultural courses for this home work. Professor I. B. Ball of the agricultural department was employed em-ployed bv the board of education during the summer months to promote the club work which work was the direct outcome out-come of the regular club work in the school The Granite club Is recognized as one of the best cluba in the state by the Agricultural college. |
