"Well Steve here I am in St. Louis and its a fine place to be at this time of the yr. but we will only be here 1 more day yet and then an other eastren trip and Im . going along on this trip because it looks now like we got a good chaDCt for the pennant and Im libel to be? needed any day to bust up a game. Bresnahan was going to take me on' the eastren trip but at first he said he wouldent bring me down here but would leave me join the club in Pittsburgh but I razed a holler and insist it on comeing a long down here and I guess you know why Steve. Gusays still got thi6 here Babe hanging a round yet and I guess she thinks our house is a summer resort where peopl stays all summer onily when you go somewheres to a summer resort your supposed to pay for vour bord and loging and this here Babe aint even broughten a tooth pick for the table sense shes been to our house. I TOLD Gussy la.st Sun. I says if you dout chaoe this here inseck home I will sew you for a Bill of Divorce and Gussy says you couldent get no Divorce because what grounds would you get a Di-, Di-, vorce on them and you can't get no Divorce on the grounds of company com-pany and I says Jo but I could get "1 on the grounds of Crulity on acct. of vou making me sleep ou a Davenport thats stuffed with paving pav-ing bricks. Of course I knowed I couldent get no Divorce and dont want none but. I was in ernest a bout this here Babe liveing off us. So Gussy savs she would hint round and trv and make Babe pack up and beat, it so Gussy says to Babe well deary your family must be get-ing get-ing lone some you staying a way from them so long but Babe says back O no the longer I stay away from my family it dont make no diffmnts because they know Im having a good time. SO then Gussy says aint they no man up to grand Babbits that would be glad to have you come home but Babe says something a bout absent makes them love you all the better and I guess they aint no doubt a bout that in regards to her. so then Gussy says she was expecting mv sister to come and pay her a vissit and Babe says that would be fine and wouldent them 3 girls have a grand time to gather and of coarse she dident know that Gussv was jest making it up a bout mv sister because T havent got no I more sister than ad.nn in the tiibble and Gussv pulled a lot more stuff and hinted a round but Babe dident pay no a tension and Gussy might as well of had the lock jaw for all the good the talking done. SO LAST Tues. A. M. out to the ball pk. I says to Bresnahan I says how a bout this net trip and he says what do you mean how a bout the trip.
