A young German volunteer, Christian Wetzcr, of WVirien, Bavaria, has been rewarded with the iron cross for an act of uncommon bravery. In the course of the ba t ties in Gall da Weizer. who Is 18 years of ate, wa b separated from his company. He wandered wan-dered about for some time In a dense forest and while trying to regain the German lines he ran across a Russian detachment.
