A lecture on "The Archaeological Expedition of 1914' was given by Dean Byron Cummings and curios collected on the trip through southern south-ern Utah were shown. Eight refreshments were served by the club members. The guests were received by the club officers, of-ficers, who are: Mrs. Eber Hall, president; presi-dent; Mrs. E. Perhaps the most elaborate color ! scheme was furnished by the Chi Omega sorority, which is at 10SO First avenue. The home of this group was tastily adorned with straw and carnival-colored ribbon, the colors of tbe national fraternity. frater-nity. The freshmen members of the sorority soro-rity were dressed as petite French maidE and served refreshments. The Gamma Phi sorority house was decorated in orange and black, the colors of that sorority. Pineapple punch, candles and cakes constituted tho menu of that order, and the entire membership of . forty girls formed a reception committee to make their visitors feel at homo. The Delta Epsilon sororitv members held their festivities at No. 3")9 Douglas avenue, at the home of Miss Helen Owens, a senior member of the organization. organiza-tion. The sorority colors of blue and, white featured the decorations, which i were nattily twisted around the chandeliers chande-liers and extended to the corners of the rooms. This sorority, in keeping with the new home-cooking movement of the university, uni-versity, had an elaborate stock of home- made candies to proffer the delighted visitors. Members of the Alpha Chi sorority, which is the youngest Greek-letter society at the university, held forth in their rooms at the llyland apartments. Their abode was embellished with blue and red, their colors, and the members of the fraternity, fra-ternity, headed by their president, Miss Leone Garnet te, formed the reception committee. Refreshments were offered the visitors. Miss Alta Mortson and James B. Thomas Thom-as will be married at noon today in the Salt Lake temple. A reoeption will be given this evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mon-son, Mon-son, 1167 East Fifth South street. Miss Leona Silver will be bridesmaid.
