Show SALTAIR WORKING ON SANITARY PROPOSALS President Joseph Nelson Declares He Will Co-operate With Health Authorities. That eveiy possible means has been taken In the past and that efforts would be continued in the future to obviate the odor emanating from the collection of rubbish at Saltair, was the statement ' made last night by Joseph Nelson, presi- j dent of the company operating the re- i sort, i Mr. Nelson said that more work has been done this spring than in any of the past twenty years. Comprehensive plans for the elimination or partial elimination of the odors are now being considered. A meeting was held yesterday with County Phvsician Dr. C. C. Snyder and City Health Commissioner Dr. Samuel G. Paul, at which the plans were carefully gone over. Another conference is to be held Thursdav or Friday. Mr. Nelson toid the physicians that he has always been willing to listen, to any suggestion which would tend to better the resort, a nd assurfd them of his desire de-sire Us co-operate in every possible way. , |
