The announcement announce-ment by the Utah Agricultural college of its Intention of conducting two fanners" round-ups and housekeepers' conferences during the coming school year Is finding a warm response among the farm people of the slate. In I ho past, only one round-up and housekeepers' conference has been held each year. These meetings have been held In Lokhii, and there have been taken up tho matters of most pertinent perti-nent interest to the farmers as well as the farmers' wives who are able to attend. at-tend. The great distance to bo covered in some instances, however, has been a serious se-rious handicap to people living In the south, end of the state: they have felt that tho expense and time consumed In making the trip to JjOgan and hack made too great a demand' upon them. To obviate ob-viate a continuance of these conditions the college will this year conduct a farmers' farm-ers' round-up and housekeepers' conference confer-ence at ItichUeld. The round-up at Logan will be held from .January 27 to February S, Inclusive, while the one at RUhtlclu will follow shortly after, opening February Febru-ary 1" and extending up to Washington's birthday, February 22.
