Show WALLACE S. TAYLOR HOME FROM FUNERAL Wallace S. Taylor of tho Oregon Short Line clerical force, yeslcrdny returned to Salt Lake from Walla Walla. Wash., where he attended tho funeral of Ins mother. Mrs. Martha A. Taylor, who died In Oakland, Cal.. November 30, following a paralytic stroke, aged 66 years. Mm. Taylor was tho widow of Archibald Archi-bald Taylor, who wau In charge of the First Methodist church of Oakland at the time of his death, Mr. Taylor was related relat-ed by marriage to Jefferson Davis of confederacy con-federacy fame, and was of a promlnont Virginia family. Mrs. Taylor was born In Scotland and came to the United States In 1851, making tho voyage around Cape Horn to the Pacific coast. Th0 family stopped for some time at Portland, Ore., and later settled in Oakland, Cat Surviving Mrs. Taylor are three children. chil-dren. Wallace S. Taylor of this city and Archlo W. nnd Alice E.
