Show FAVORABLE REPORT ON AGRICULTURAL BILL WASHINGTON. Dec. S. The house committee on agriculture fnvora.blv reported re-ported today the "agricultural extension" bill of Representative Lever of South Carolina, Car-olina, its chairman. Under the measure the department of agriculture would send agents into ovory farming county in the United States to meet tho farmers and give them information informa-tion acquired as the result of many years of agricultural experiments. These agents wotdd give particular attention to homo economics as well as to the Improvement Improve-ment In actual tilling of tho soil. Proper administration of tho bill, the committee will urge, should make farm life more, attractive and profitable and so stop tho drift of population from tho country coun-try to the cities and towns.
