Ward, In the United States circuit court of appeals, reversed tho decision. Judge Noycs. In sustaining the writ of habeaB corpus, held that tho commission commis-sion of libel did not necessarily Indicate moral turpitude, which was tho busls of the deportation order, in the arguments today. John N. Boyle, Unftcd States assistant as-sistant district attorney, urged that Myllus knew lho utatcmenta ho made about King Georgo wcro false and therefore, there-fore, being a malicious story, It indicated moral turpitude. Simon Pollock, counsel coun-sel for Myllus, contended tho libel for which the writer served time In England was a politico! crime. |
