Show News of Ephraim. Special to Tho Tribune. EPIIltAIM, March 31. The funeral services over the remains of the little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Anderson wero held from the family residence yesterday afternoon. A sad accident occurred at Falrvlcw yesterday,, when the eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Clements of that placo was killed. Mr. Clements owns a planing mill In the outskirts of town and the little fellow made a trip out to sco If his father could find something for him to do. During the afternoon tho father was busily engaged at his work while the child was playing near by. Mr. Clements had warned the child to not go near the machinery, but he disobeyed and his coat was caught in the cog wheels. Ueforo the father could stop the machinery tho boy had been badly mangled. The father succeeded in getting him out of the machinery ma-chinery before ho died, but lie onlv lived a few minutes artorward. Tho arrangements arrange-ments for the ruperal have not yet been made. Mr. and Mrs. Curl Lundberg of Gunnison Gunni-son aro mourning tho loss or their seven-months-old baby, which died yesterday, artcr a brief illness, from whooping cough. Miss Flora Anderson, one of the popular popu-lar young women of Falrview. Is dead, after a lingering illness, from Brlght's disease. Sho had been a student at tho B. T. university at Provo during the pnst year, but was compelled to give up her work on account of her health. The funeral fu-neral was largely attended, and her school teacher spokt; at tho services. Interment was at the Falrvlcw cemetery. |
