Findcn, "Tho Temple Bells, "Less Than the Oust." ("Kashmiri Sing" and "Till T Wake," and as an encore "A June Morning," by Charles Willoughby. Mrs. V. A. Nclden read an interesting paper on "Artistic Bookbinding." Following tho intermission, Mrs. J. C. Royle made a few remarks, telling of letters sho had received from several of the first members of rhe club, one from Mrs. Hamilton Gamble, who is now in Paris. She had also heard from Mrs. Shelton B. Davis, the first treasurer of the club, who now lives in California. Mrs. Enuneline B. Wells recenth met Mrs. Po3'le and wished to be remembered to all of the members. Fen-ton. 1 w The Daughters of the American Revolution, Rev-olution, Spirit of Libert' chapter, met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. D. B. Mudgett. Mrs. L. LI. Stohr was chairman. After the business meeting, a programme representing the Colonial da.ys was presented. Mrs. Stohr provided provid-ed each lady with four squares of material ma-terial with which to start a quilt. The programme consisted of a number of vocal solos by Mrs. Jack Ta3"lor. Mrs. K. R. Shepard read a chapter of "Aunt .Jnne of Kentucky." by Eliza Hall; Miss Edith Mudgett recited and Miss Savage gave "Travcr's First Hunt," by Richard Harding .Davis. Refreshments Refresh-ments wore served and a social hour spout. There will be one more meeting this season preceding the election of ollieers. . The Current Events and Current Literature Lit-erature section of the Ladies' Literary club will moot at 2 o'clock Friday, Apr 1 17. at tho club house. Mrs. W. 11. Bramel. will review "The Spinner iu the Sun." by Myrtle Reed, and Mrs. E. Merrill will discuss the current topic.
