A crowd of Indies from the South ward dropped in and took her by surprise. A nice lunch was prepared and a purse containing a neat j little sum of money was given her. .Mrs. RasniiiPHon'8 husband has benn away for many months on a -mission. Tho social event of the season was the party given bv Miss Ethel Thorpe al her home Monday night. An elaborate elabo-rate lunch was spread and the evening proved to be a very pleasant one.
