During the eveniug an impromtu programme was carried out. C. J. Saturday Satur-day evening the officers of tho two miiluals entertained the officers of the associations of the various wards ; throughout Bnxclder stake. The social I was held in the opora house and about ' 300 people participated. Refreshments ! w.cre served on trays, each guest receiving re-ceiving a tray, upon which were sandwiches, sand-wiches, cake, cross salad and valentine valen-tine ice cream. Lemonade nlso was served. A spleudid programme was rendered, ren-dered, after which dancing was in- I dulgod iu until a lato hour. Ono of the most successful and enjoyable en-joyable socials of the season was tho one held iu the Fourth ward a few days ago. The feast and social were in commemoration of tho completion of the meeting house in that ward. A nice programme was carried out and a most excellent dinner was served, which was prepared under tho personal supervision su-pervision of Mesdamcs Serena Hansen and H. J.
