Show 1 HON "AD" CLUE IS NOW FULLY ORGANIZED A. G. M'GUTRE. JOHN D. GILES. I MEMBERS OF THE SALT LAKE AD OLU33. The Salt Lako Ad club is now fully organized. At the meeting last Thursday Thurs-day night tho charter membership list was closed aud fifty-two members are now enrolled. The constitution and bylaws by-laws have been revised nnd aro now ready to bu printed for distribution. Copies will bo sent to all tho advertising adver-tising magazines of the east aud west and also to the prominent advertising clubs of the country. Extensive, plans have been made to" givo the organization organiza-tion wide publicity, as tho members arc proud of the distinction of being members of tho first, "ad" club in Utah, as well as the first one between Denver and the Pacific coast. The Salt Lako Ad club was organized organ-ized with tho same general purposes in view as other similar organizations throughout tho country, tho primo object ob-ject of tho clubs being tho improvement improve-ment of advertising and advertising condition?. Tho specific objects of tho local club, as stated in tho preamble, are designed to improvo conditions locally, lo-cally, and also to assist iu giving publicity pub-licity to the slate. Tho prearablo is as follows: ''We. the undersigned, do declare i ourselves associated to exchango idens on business and municipal publicity; to bring to the full moasuro of usefulness use-fulness tho business of advertising in its various forms;, to promuto Hocial and business fellowship among advertising men, and to help spread abroad the namo and fame of the city of Salt Lake and tho state of Utah." In the larger cities of tho country the liad" clubs arc in many cahes tho most prominent business organizations, and tho Salt Lako club has laid plans that will insure it a prominent position in the local Held. The slogan of the club is, "Advertise do it better!" The. club meets once on eh month in a social and business mooting, at which papers aro read and discussed by the members. Lunch is served at each meeting aud tho interest manifested thus far is very encouraging to the men behind tho organization. The officers of tho club are: A. D. McGuire, of J. P.
