Show Old-Fashioned Womanhood. The old-fashioned woman looked well to the ways of her household. She wn3 not particularly ambitious for a carer or a calling. Sho did not know that she was down-trodden, or realize her ignominious igno-minious servitude to a false assumption of superiority on the part of tho unfair sex. Sho found tho homage and chivalry of mankind delightful, and took It at Its face value. Nor did sho troublo herself about the potential reconstruction of the family on a new basis of relationship. Sho was not struggling to be recognized as man's equal, for ho found It tacitly admitted on oil sides that she was man's superior. Sho felt a deep and rational delight In various concerno and enterprises, enter-prises, but these woro not of such a nature na-ture as to call for tho sacrifice of her first and nearest Interests, which were material and domestic.
