Show FINAL MEETING HELD BY WESTERN SURGEONS St. Louis Gets Next Meeting and Oshkosh Captures Presidency. The Western Surgical and Gynecological Gyneco-logical association held its final session, beginning at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, morn-ing, in tho Y. M. C. A. auditorium. Tho third' day's programme was carried out to the letter. Interesting papers woro read on ten different topics pertaining to surgery, and freely discussed by tho members of tho profession present. Now officers lor the ensuing year were elected. Dr. Charles W. Oviatt of Oshkosh. Wis., was elected prosident: Dr. S. C. Baldwin of Salt Lako and Dr. Jubcz N. Jackson of Kansas City wore chosen first and second vico-presi-dent, respectively; Dr. Arthur T. Mann of Minneapolis is tho secretary and troasurcr. The executivo committeo was continued. St. Louis was chosen as the place for holding tho next meeting and the timo designated was Christmas week, 1907. A resolution of thanks was passed for courtesies and hospitality extended by thc local profession of Salt Lake. The members of tho association were unanimous in stating that tho annual session just closed was the most interesting, inter-esting, instructive and beneficinl of any yet hold. The visitors left on Saturday afternoon after-noon and night trains, carrying with them a high opinion of Salt Lake and its hospitanle and open-hoartod people. |
