J. McLaughlin, hoad bookkeeper, who, with his family, loaves for Ely, Nov., where they expect to make tholr homo. Tho evening was pleasantly spont with musical numbers and cards. In tho latter prizes wore won by Mrs. R, L, Pate and Mr. Ilayno. Mr. McLaughlin was presented pre-sented with a beautiful gold-headed cane by his associates, which he will prize as tho years go by.
