Show IRE COOL WEATHER PROMISED SUET LAKE No Precipitations Above the Average Reported Throughout Through-out Country. The atmospheric conditions in the "West and Northwest have undergone changes within the last twenty-four hours which assure fair weather ngaiu today for Salt Lake. The field of low pressures which, for a time, threatened to get together and, by sweeping oast-ward, oast-ward, give Salt Lake another drenching, such as we had some daj's ago, was broken up by the southeastward flight of the high, which, as was 'stated in Tuesday's Tribune, was locatod in the extreme Northwest. j. ins center ot nigh pressure developed devel-oped and spread rapidly, entering the field occupied by the "Western low, driving driv-ing this doprossed atmospheric field to tho northward, to combino with the northern low. Tho southern low remained re-mained about stationary and gatherod no added energy, consequently producing pro-ducing no precipitation for that portion of the country. Will Eomain Cool. Salt Lake, being within tho zone of the high pressure, had cooler weather last night, and this temperature will probably prevail for today at least. If o high spreads, as it gives promise or. doing, it will give this city a continued con-tinued cool spell; while, should it break up and lose energ', thus allowing the combined Northwestern lows to take tr flight to tho southeast, Salt Lake n-ill have precipitations, though hardly of any consequence. No precipitations abovo the average arc reported anywhere in the United States, and the average temperature is being maintained throughout the greater great-er portion of tho country. Weather Record.
