Show MAHK APPLICATIONS HR MB RIGHTS Attirity in Irrigation Shown by Permits Applied for in State. The tollofring applications for vrater rights were received by the State Engineer's En-gineer's office Wednesday: Hugo P. Lislca o Mj'ton, for a flow of two and one-half cubic feet per second, to be used from March 1 to November 15 of each 3'ear; to be diverted from the Green river in Wasatch county. The water will be taken from what is known as Antelope drawr and tho diverting di-verting work will consist of a channel 8000 eet long and four and one-half feet wide, the water to be used for irrigation purposes. J7 TJ. Sargent of Marysvalo ior a flow of one cubic foot per second, to be diverted from the Sevier river. Tho water will be iaken from what is known as Cottonwood gulch, and tho diverting work will consist of a channel chan-nel 5280 feet long, by ono and one-half feet wide, and the water will bo used for irrigation purposes. A. Scribner of Stcvckton for a flow of one and one-half cubic feet per second, sec-ond, to be diverted from two springs in Tooele county known as the Scribner Scrib-ner springs. The diverting work will consist ofa channel ten feet, in length, and the water will be used for stock purposes. John .U. Roador of Vernal for a flow of two cubic feet per socond, to bo used from April 1 to Novembor 1 of each year. The wator is to bo diverted di-verted from tho Green river iu Uintah Uin-tah county, and tho work will consist of a dam, headgate and a canal, the channel being 11,500 feet long by threo feet wide, the water to be used for irrigation ir-rigation purposes. William B. Eussell of Kamas, Summit Sum-mit county, for a flow of two and one-half one-half cubic feet per second, to be diverted di-verted from the Green river in Wasatch Wa-satch county. The water will be taken from what iB known as the Duchesne fork and will bo used for irrigation purposes. Homer McCarty of Monroe for a flow to be diverted from the Sevier river in Piute county, to be used from April 1 to July 1 o each year, the water to be taken from what is known as Dry canyon, and the diverting work consisting con-sisting of a channel 6000 feet long by four feet wide. This water will be usod for irrigation. F. E. Odell, trustee for land holders, of Glendora, Cal., for a flow of 1525 acre feet, to. be used from March 1 to October 1, and to be diverted from the Beaver river in Beaver county. The diverting work will consist of a ditch and dam, the channel being 63,360 feet long by eighteen feet wide, and the water will De used for irrigation purposes. pur-poses. Homer McCarty of Monroe for a flow of two cubic feet por second, to be diverted from the Sevier river, in Piute county, the water to be taken from Fibadore creek, a fork of the Sevier river.
