Show KILLALOE'S VICTORY IS SURPRISE OF IEAR Forty to One Shot Wins Great Filly Stakes at Sheeps-head Sheeps-head Bay. NEW YORK, Sept. 5. The surprise of the year came in the third race at Sheepshead Bay today, the Great Filly stakes, worth $10,000, at six furlongs, when Klilaloe. a 10 to 1 shot, easily defeated de-feated the Keene entry. Court Dress, at the prohibitive price of 1 to 10. Mr. Keene started Court Dress aud Tope Joan, the latter of whom finished second sec-ond In tho Futurity. They were considered con-sidered to out-clas3 their field so far that practically no price was laid against them, except 1 to 10. while the price on Klllnloo went up. Court Dress wont to the front at tho start and set a fast pace. In the final furlong he tired, and Kocrnor-brought Kocrnor-brought Killaloe on the rail and won easily by two lengths. Results: First race, five and n -half furlongs, Futurity course Tamacoo won. Royal Breeze second, Blondy third. Tlmo, 1:07 1-5.
