Thompson resigned from the high school as tho instructor In mathematics mathe-matics and athletic director. In the matter of the sale to George E. Maulc of the vacant corner at the Central school., for which Mr. Maulo bids $15,000, an order was made that Mr Maule must deposit the money to tho credit of tho board not later than noon Thursday. Funeral services over tho remains of the late Judge Joseph Hall were h9ld today from the Second ward meeting-house nnd were largely attended. attend-ed. Wallace, the newly appointed County Recorder of Weber county. Is back at his desk, but is still & very sick man.- He is suffering from an attack of lumbago, but bollevee he Is improving. Claude Williams, general agent of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul, wan in Ogden today getting tho carloads.. He was congratulated by his friends on his coming marriage, which 1b to bo solemnized solem-nized October 2, when ho will be wedded to Miss Helen Burton, daughter of Judge John W. Burton, H. A. Hansen, night ticket agent at the Ogden depot, has resigned and left for Oakland this morning, whore ho will assume the poRitlon of train agent on the Sacramento division of the Southern Pacific. J. Clomenson of Logan was In Ogden todny, a guest of tho Healy. L. B. Hampton, representing the Crane company of Salt Lake, has been here for tw.o days, and went hack to Salt Lake tonight. |
