Show PASTOR'S WIFE PAYS FINE. Arrested for Theft of a Collarette From a Store. CHICAGO. Dec. 11. Mrs. H. C. Robinson, Rob-inson, the wife of the assistant rector of Grace Episcopal church, was fined $5 and costs under the name of Mary Carson, in the Harrison Street Police court. The fine was the result of charges made by representatives of a State street department store that Mrs. Robinson had attempted to take a collarette col-larette from the store. When arrested she gave the name of Mary Carson, and ln seeking bonds sent a message to her husband. Charges of 1 larceny and disorderly conduct were originally preferred against her. The larceny count was dropped and the fine entered on the minor charce. Mr. Robinson, who lives at the Wychmere hotel with his wife, said no defense wus made In court, in ordcrto avoid publicity. pub-licity. "Of course, It was all a mistake," said Mr. Robinson. "There was a misunderstanding mis-understanding and. Mrs, Robinson did not care to reveal" her identity. We thought we had best let the whole matter mat-ter go by default.
