Mr. Doty was superintendent of tho Eureka Hill mlno about eeven years ago, when the mlno was enjoying a period of unprecedented prosperity and durlnp the past two or three years he has been In charge of mining min-ing property in Nevada. The Eureka Reporter Re-porter has been Informed by officials of the Beck company that for the present tile mlno will be conducted alone tho same lines as It has been for the past few yeare The leasing of certain portions of tho mlno has proven qulto satisfactory to the company and considerable money has besn added to tho treasury from this source. Tho recent strikes, made by leasers and In that part of tho mine now being worked by the company, shows conclusively that tho mine is far from being worked out. |
