Show URGE DAWS FOR. CHILDREN. Utah. Already Has Two of Them on the Statute Books. Gov. Cutler ha3 received a communication communica-tion from tho Boys' and Girls' National Curfow association. He has also received copies of flvo laws that the association is trying to have enforced all over tho United States. They all have the purpose of preventing crlmo and Immorality 1 among children. The first Is tho curfew law or ordinance j;ash as la in forca, but not aoioxctd, 2a Salt Lako City. This makes It unlawful for boys and girls under the ago of 15 to bo on tho streets after S p. m. In winter tlmo and 9 p. m. in summer. Tho second is to compol offlcere of tho law, both county and city officials to Imprison Im-prison youths apart from old criminals when thoy are under arrest. This law Is also on tho Utah Htatules. The third Is to apprehend and rcstoro to their parents, all truant and runaway boya and girls. Tho fourth Is a Stato law creating em. ploymont bureaus for boys and girls. It Is said that theso bureaus exist In somo SLitcs and are very cffectlvo In finding employment for children and keeping them out of mischief. Tho lelter concludes by showing tho efficiency ef-ficiency ot these laws In reducing crime in tho country. The executive board of the association, which writes tho letter, says that the laws are in force in somo 5000 cities and towns of the United States.
