Show WILL SHIP BULLION TO WORLD'S FAIR At a meeting of the Utah World's Fair commission, held yesterday, Commissioner Samuel Is'ewhouso was authorized to secure se-cure a carload of copper bullion from tho American Smelting nnd Refining company for tho purpose of building an arch over the entrance to thc Utah mineral exhibit. It Is believed that tho bullion can be secured se-cured without any cost to thc State for Bhlpment. Tho bullion Is shipped through to tho East for refining, and it would be no extra expense to thc smelting company to loan a carload to thc Fair commission during thc summer. Tho members of the commission were well pleased with tho work of Director Cummlngs of the c-ducatlonnl display, and complimented the professor upon the manner man-ner ln which he has performed thc task. With the earnest assistance of the teachers teach-ers throughout the State Prof. Cummlngs was enabled to gather a most creditable exhibit, and that ln less than two months' time. Mr. Cummlngs expects to leave for St. IxjuIs today and. barring no delays in the transportation of the exhibit, says that ho will havo everything In place by June 1. Mr, Cummlngs, who has had considerable con-siderable experience in this kind of work, says the Utah educational exhibit Is most creditable and one that thc citizens of thc Sta-to may well feci proud of. |
