Theye nominations were mado by acclamation, as follows: Secretary of State Daniel E. Storms. Auditor David E. Sherrlck. t State Treasurer Nat TJ. Hill. Attorney-General Charles W. Miller. Superintendent of Public Instruction Fassott A. Cotton. Judges of the Supreme Court Oscar IT. Montgomery and John V. Hadloy. The first contest was for the nomination nomina-tion of Governor. The contestants were Frank Hanly of Lafayette; W. Xi. Taylor of Indianapolis; W. L. Penlleld of Auburn, and Warren G. Sayro of Wabash, Mr. Hanly was nominated on the first ballot. Hugh T. Miller of Columbus was nominated for Lieutenant-Governor on the third ballot. George W. Self of Corydon was nominated nom-inated for reporter of the Supreme court and J. H. Stubbs of Indianapolis for State statistician. The convention then adjourned. |
