Rabendorf. who arrived from thero today, sayo flour ls selling at 25 cents a pound, bacon at $1. sugar at $1.00 and beans at 50 cents. Tho mines have had to shut down. Half tho population has gone out and moro are leaving cvory days. The trouble Is due to failure of the stores to lay In adequate supplies. |
