Show CONFERENCE AGREES ON SUNDRY CIVIL BILL WASHINGTON, April 27. The conference con-ference agreement on the sundry' civil appropriation bill reported today clears up all differences between the two houses on this measure The Senate amendment, providing for an office building for Senators, is retained. re-tained. In relation to the extension of the east front of the Capitol, substitutes are provided for House and Senate 'provisions 'pro-visions for a Joint commission of three Senators and three Representatives to Inquire and report at the next session of Congress plans in details and estimates of cost for the extension and completion comple-tion of the Capitol building. The Houbc provision regarding the national home for disabled volunteer soldiers Is restored. The appropriation for the enforcement of the anti-trust laws Is made available, as proposed by the House, for the fiscal year 1905, Instead of until expended, ns proposed by the Senate. |
