The occasion was a private theatrical and It waa thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Those taking part were the Misses Fisher, Miss Virginia Buch. Mlsa Elizabeth Smith, Mrs. King, Mr. Stoddard. Stod-dard. Mr. Uppam, Mr. Walters and Dr. Emlsw. ' Miss Kate Smith of the Now Jersey academy entertained at a mo.9t pleasant card party Wednesday evening in honor of Mr. Cockran, who is visiting at Logan. Lo-gan. Finch was played, after which dainty refreshments were served, and an enjoyable time spent, u Invitations aro out for a ball to be given by the Women's club at the A. Tho Presbyterian church was the scene of a prettily appointed ball and social on Friday evening, which was given by the athletic club of the Nc-w Jersey academy. The church was artistically artis-tically decorated In the club colors, and over one hundred guesU were present. u Mrs. Guy Thatcher and Mrs. R. L.
