Show SHIPMENTS OF ORE FROM THE 0. K. MINE The Milford Times, in its review of the week, says that in order to raise funds for current expenses of the receivership, re-ceivership, Receiver Tanner has shipped four cars of O. K. ore. Three cars were shipped from the smelter, and as they wero made up of a mixed lot of first and pecond class, no great results arc looked for. Tho other car came from the mine dump and much of It was very high grade, including a large percentage of red oxide. No returns re-turns have yet been received. P. B- McKeou returned from Chicago last Saturuay and reports that satisfactory satisfac-tory progress is being made on the Talisman Tal-isman deal, but there is nothing definite defi-nite to be announced at this time. Through the solicitation of Receiver Tanner, Mr. Mays has presented his flno collection of Majestic mineral specimens to the Beaver branch of tho Brigham Young university. The collection collec-tion Includes somo magnificent samples and will be greatly appreciated by the institution. John MeAulay returned Saturday from his Pine Grove mine, where ho found conditions most encouraging. The shaft Is now down elghty-llvo feet nnd the vein shows steady improvement. improve-ment. There Is a streak of ore twenty inches wide that assays 1SS ounces silver, sil-ver, with kidneys of a much higher grade scattered through it. A block of the stock was sold last week to Mr. Herz of Salt Lake. |
