Miss Montgomery had been called on to substitute for a teacher In a room full of unruly boys. Within a few days sho could not manage them, and Superintendent Super-intendent T. A. II. Leslie entered tho room and flogged every pupil present. There wero thirty of them and some were very young and were innocent of wrongdoing. But the superintendent lost his temper and spared no one. Before ho had finished his work Miss Montgomery was screaming and pulling pull-ing out her hair. |
