Show WEDDIN6 ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED AT MANTI Spoclul to Tho Tribune. MANTT, Utah, April 16. The social event of the week was tho celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. John II. Hor-nung, Hor-nung, Friday evening. Mr. Hornung has been general agent for the Sanpete Valley railroad for many years. . About forty frlendsfwerc present, several sev-eral of them coming from different parts of the State. Among them were Hon. John Pyper, 84 years of nge, from NephI; Edward Webb, Mrs. Hormings father, CG years of age, from South Cottonwood, Cot-tonwood, Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Wall of Mt Ploasant, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Fisher of Epliraim and Prof. John P. Meakln, who was here in the Interest of Tho Tribune. The tables, decorations and every feature were beautifully arranged ar-ranged in perfect harmony with the occasion. Appropriate addresses were ihade by Judge Pyper, Edward Webb, Rev. G. W. Martin of MantI and Prof. Meakin. Musical numbers wore rendered by Mr. and Mrs. Hornung and their charming charm-ing daughter, Lillian, Miss Mattlo While and Miss Effie Slnnnonds, which, tbgethcr with several literary gems by Prof. Meakin, made. up a delightful evening. i The harvesting of the wool crop begins be-gins today at the big shearing' corral near the city, under tho management of Raymond Buchanan. The result of the Mt. Pleasant convention con-vention in nominating W. D. Livingston Living-ston for Judge of the Seventh district appears to give general satisfaction. |
