Leroy Jones Is no nearer a solution than It was on the afternoon of May 1C, when she departed for parts unknown. Robert II. Cutting, attorney for her deserted husband, said tonight: "Every clue has been followed up, but they have come to naught. We arc now having all the steamers which sailed since Mrs. Jones's disappearance vilehed on the other side, but we do not think she will be found aboard any of them. No one knows where she Is, and from present Indications no ono ever will know except by accident." Mrs Hone mother of Mrs J&es. said that when Mr. Jones broke open his wife's deak he found a letter in It addressed lo a friend of Mrs. Jones, In which she ald she was going to Europe. Mrs Hone also said her daughter had expressed her Intention of leaving her husband on several occasions. |
