Show Visiting Utah We had a vert pleasant interview, yesterday, with J. Piuckney Smith, Ksq , of New Or-leaus, Or-leaus, who with general H. T. Hays and judge A. : . Lvisee, of the same ci'.y, is on a vi-it to Utah, for the purpose pur-pose of inspecting, with a view to investment, in-vestment, some of the miniog properties proper-ties in this region. Mr. Smith informs us tbat Louisiana has considerable capital cap-ital to invest in Utah mines, when the possessors gain full confidence that their investments will be profitable. And as the mineral wealth is here, the only things for the owners of claims to do is to act on the square, and represent repre-sent their properties to be what they really are, and not what an over-sanguine over-sanguine imagination may fancy they might become The gentlemen of the party are stopping at the Townsend House, and purpose paying a visit to Camp Floyd district. |
