He informs us that business is quite lively in Ophir, and that work in the mines throughout the district ia progressing moit favorably. There has been little ov no snow thus far, and nothing to retard operations in the mines, which are looking exceedingly well, turning out ore abuudant in quantity and rich in quality. Our intormant says that the pooplo of Ophir don't trouble themselves with polities nor differences of religious opinion, but aro living together to-gether in peace and harmony, each man minding his own business.
