Show I 4 THE LA PLATA MINES I The City of Middle Forks Platted and Lots Are on Sale THE TOWN COMPANY HOPEFUL wo Banks a Drug Store Hotel Etc Already PromisedAfter the Prize Ficht Morrisons Grief The Middle Forks rown company held a meeting night before last and elected ofticors which are as follows President W W Waters secretary George H Bur gitt treasurer A J Warner The chamber of commerce of Ogden was i on the ground and refused to aid the town company as a body because it is said other Ogden men are interested at other places L However as individuals they will do all in their power to assist them In building up I the promised city The town company has laid aside OO lots I which will be sold at a low figure to all who improve them and the proceeds will I go to grade the streets and for general public improvements The lots will be told at 5 each and the fee of recording Trill be but a small amount The townBita is so situated that it can be easily watered and in fact a ditch has already been built and water is running in it today One bundled lots have boon disposed of thus far ebd the new city has the promise of two banks a drug store hotel blacksmith shop and several gonciul supply stores Prospector are at work ull ting in all directions from the town and if the mineral min-eral regions prove to oo good which no doubt they will the city of Middle Forks l will no doubt reach the proportions of a lirstclass mining town The town company com-pany is very hopeful of the future of the place |
