Show Marrlago of Hiss Mary Lincoln I LONDON Sept 2The marriage of Miss I I Mary Lincoln daughter of tho United States minister to Charles B Jsham of I Chicago took place at 230 today at Brompton parish church A number of fashionable people and Americans mostly I intimate friends of the Lincoln mosty t family tilled the church famiy The wedding was on the whole of an extremely simple character Miss Lincoln leaning on her fathers arm was metat the church door by the officiating clergyman and choristers who preceded the bridal party up the aisle to the altar rails where rais the groom attended by his best man Major James C Post military attache of Post mitar attche ofthe United States legation was in waiting The bride wore a white satin gown beauti fut lace veil and a diamond necklace given by the groom In her hand Miss Lincoln carried an ivory covered prayer book Mrs Lincoln and her daughter Miss J Jessie had entered the church previousto i the entrance of the bride They occupied the front pew on the right aisle After the ceremony the newly married couple were conducted to the vestry where the wedding wed-ding party members of tho families of both the contracting parties who were present and a few intimate friends signed the marriage resistor From the church the wedding party was driven to Mr Lincolns house in Cromwell gardens where in company com-pany with a few intimate iriends they breakfasted |
