Show Mrs E C Bowen Suicides POCATELLO Idaho Sept 2rSpecial telegram to THE HERALD This afternoon the wife of E C Bowon of this city committed com-mitted suicide by taking morphine She purchased poison shortly after dinner and went immediately to the river where she took it and when found was lying on the bank almost dead Her husband was notified and with two physicians proceeded to revive her but all their efforts were in vain and in a few minutes the woman was a corpse The lady was well known in this city her husband having been in the saloon i business a number of years I is said that trouble in the family was the cause of the rash act but Mr Bowen denies this and I says furthermore that when he left his wife at noon she was in excellent spirits This morning an unknown man was brought to town and placed under the care of the Union Pacific surgeon The man was found near the railroad track in an unconscious un-conscious condition Half of his body is paralyzed and he i terribly bruised about t w the neck and head Ho is supposed to have fallen oft the train The physician She I S-he cannot live i I |
