A Queer Hnlo A remarkable circle or halo was observed ob-served on a recent afternoon about 1 oclock The halo did not surround the Bun Vufc passed through the sun The circle was of great size the diameter being be-ing measured from the suns center northward north-ward to the place of the north star The i center of the circle was a little to the i north of the zenith This is one of the most remarkable phenomena ever ob served in this latitude In the higher I I latitudes such circles or halos are not rareRochester N Y Democrat I
