THE COUNTY SALARIES Several Ofllcials Interested in Saturdays Comity Court Session Next Saturdays session of the county court will he devoted to business of unusual un-usual importance business of particular interest to a number of the county officials offi-cials The law directs that the county court shall fix the salaries of the assessor collector clerk sheriff treasurer and fish and game commissioner after the assessment rolls are completed each year and it is for this purpose that the court will meet next Saturday The salaries received by these official at present are as follows Assessor 7250 collector 8000 clerk 3500 sheriff 3000 treasurer fl000 fish and game commissioner 500 The incumbents are serenely confident that no changes wIll be made but a sentiment in favor of retrenchment re-trenchment has been noticeable about the county court room during the past few days
