City NewsAn Ogden Committee Goes to Nevada on an Annexation An-nexation Mission OGDEN Juno 28 SpecinlRev Young of Plain City the Episcopal minister min-ister who went to Denver in search of J Henry Taylor the missing man of Plain City returned this evening after having located his man and finding that he is alIve and well and that he did after all desert his family and home Young left for Denver on Saturday last and reached that city Sunday morning He was armed with the address taken by Sheriff Belnap from the letter received by a young woman of Plain City presumably pre-sumably from Taylor At this address he found that Taylor had stopped two days but was then working at a saw mill in the mountains fortytwo miles from Denver under an assumed name At the same address the preacher met a man with whom Taylor was acquainted and to whom he had told his story Just after leaving the last claim Taylor fired his revolver three times and then rode nine miles toward home where he turned his mare loose and walked to Ogden Og-den where he purchased a ticket for Denver The notice posted on the stake at the mine was intended as a farewell and an indication that he was well and leaving the country never to return While he did not talk with Henry personally per-sonally Young says there is nothing in the woman story and that Taylor is alone and has been alone since leaving Ogden i Whetheror not Taylor ever wrote any of J the several letters attributed to him the preacher is unable to say and as the parties par-ties who received those letters refuse to give them up the mattar will remain in doubt for some time at least Financial troubles augmented by family difficulties of a purely personal and private nature are attributed as the reasons for Taylors desertion of his family In the opinion of the minister he is perfectly sane and well knew what he was doing The family of the missing man are at a loss so they say to account for his actions and all refuse to talk for publication The woman part of the question is yet to be settled CITY COUNCIL SESSION The city council met tonight but contrary con-trary to expectations no action was taken on the financial matter but
