TIlE COLLECTOR ENJOINED The Increased Assessment Results in an Injunction Suit The case of M J Wirks vs L G Hardy collector came before Judge Bartch yesterday upon the application of the plaintiff for an injunction against the 1 defendant to prevent him from selling certain property for taxes The plaintiff alleged that the taxes upon the real estate had been paid and receipted for and that later a notice was posted upon the improvements im-provements thereon offering them for sale under an additional assessment Hence he asked that the defendant be restrained re-strained from selling the property After hearing the arguments in the case the order of injunction was granted pending a final hearing
