OCR Text	Show SWITCHMENS DEMANDS Tho Santa Fe Company Has Refused to Advance Wages CHICAGO Feb 21VicePresident Springer of the Atchison Topeka Santa Fe received a dispatch today from General Gen-eral Manager Robinson at Topeka stating that the switchmen employed by the company there had made a formal demand de-mand for an increase of wages Robinson Robin-son refused the demand and a probable strike will result The Chicago switchmen switch-men have not yet presented their petition to the roads but it is reported that unless the new schedule is adopted they will quit I work on April 1
